Dear Sodus Community,

Welcome to the 2022-2023 school year. Working with Sodus staff, parents and our community to do all we can to ensure our children’s success is an absolute pleasure and surely my highest priority.  Our work is guided via our Strategic Plan, commonly referred to as our Plan for Excellence. This plan guides every decision we make in Sodus.  This plan focuses on four priority areas, referred to as Pillars:

Highlights for the 2022-2023 school year include, but are not limited to: 

• Continue to infuse technology, as appropriate, into the instructional program

• Continue to develop and implement intervention opportunities to enhance student learning and achievement

• Explore opportunities to partner with colleges to increase student internship and volunteer opportunities

• Support and strengthen the Roberts Wesleyan Teacher Preparation Program offered here at the Sodus CSD

• Continue to actively recruit new employees to Sodus CSD via new formats

• Promote opportunities that enhance and accentuate student voice focused on learning and school culture

• Ongoing review and adjustment of our curriculum development and implementation and professional development plans
